NAGTOA North & West Coast Links Golf Challenge 2009

Absolutely Golf & Travel is pleased to offer you the opportunity to play spectacular links courses while experiencing the beauty of the Irish countryside & bountiful sites. Join us for a week filled with fun both on & off the course including nighty entertainment, and to add to the excitement we’ve included competition and prizes for your rounds at Carne Golf Links, County Sligo Golf Club, Enniscrone Golf Club & Connemara Championship Links.

Our Challenge format is based on 2-person teams, Stableford Scoring – better ball. The best score for each hole will count as the team score. Maximum handicap utilized for scoring will be 24 for men, 28 for ladies. Overall winners will be the teams with the highest accumulated points over the four tournament rounds. Daily team Prizes to be awarded: 1st Net; Overall team prizes awarded: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Net and 1st & 2nd Gross. We look forward to welcoming you to a week of fantastic golf, great hospitality, fun competition, and as the Irish would say, great “craic”!

Downhill House Hotel
A warm and friendly welcome awaits you at Downhill House Hotel which has been owned and operated by the Moylett family for three generations. Set in beautiful tranquil gardens overlooking the Brosna Falls, the hotel is a short taxi ride or a 15 minute walk to the many shops, pubs and restaurants in the town of Ballina, the largest in County Mayo. A 2million addition & renovation project was completed in March 2008, and facilities include the Eagles Leisure Club with 2 swimming pools, steam room, sauna, jacuzzi and flood-lit tennis courts.

Enniscrone Golf Club
Enniscrone, a 27-hole complex, has played host to some of Ireland’s top Amateur events. Ranked favorite golf experience by our 2007 challenge participants.
