| Set among 350 acres of woodlands
and gardens, the 13th century Ashford Castle is one of the most luxurious
five-star castle properties in Ireland. Each of the 83 guest bedrooms and
suites is individually decorated to provide stylish comfort, from the marble
bathrooms to the lush fabrics and furnishings. In the mid-1800's the castle was
purchased by Sir Benjamin Guinness and under his care the castle and the
grounds were expanded. Dining options include the George V Restaurant serving
modern Irish and international fare while the Connaught Room provides
innovative cuisine and an extensive wine list. The Dungeon Bar is quite fun and
on most evenings there is an Irish show including storytelling and ballads. The
estate offers many pursuits for guests including fishing or cruising on Lough
Corrib, equestrian, golf on the estates 9-hole course, clay pigeon shooting,
falconry and trail walking.

construction of this 4-star luxurious 40 bedroom property was overseen by
former Ballyliffin Golf Club Manager Cecil Doherty. Situated on 2½ acres of
lush countryside, the hotel overlooks the breathtaking views of Pollan Bay, the
famous Glasheedy Rock and Ballyliffin Golf Club. The property has been designed
with all the modern conveniences, yet with a traditional Irish atmosphere.
Leisure center includes swimming pool, gymnasium, sauna, steam room, and
Jacuzzi. The hotel has a wonderful restaurant and bar.

subsequently became a convent in 1914. The property is now a wonderful
12-bedroom hotel overlooking the sea. Proprietor & Chef Frances Kelly
oversees' the kitchen to ensure a fine dining experience is had by all. The
property has its own herb & vegetable gardens, and open fires warm the
inviting bar and lounge areas.
